Within each chapter there is a full review of the evidence base for a specific approach with a client group, followed by coverage of interventions for a wide range of conditions, e.g social anxiety, autism spectrum, ADHD and challenging behaviour. All interventions are illustrated by case examples.The book will be valuable to psychologists and equally to other professionals and researchers working in the field of children and adolescents.About the author:.Richard Bulkeley has in-depth experience of employing Social Skills approaches individually and in groups with both younger children and adolescents. This background is supported by four decades of experience as a clinical psychologist working with this age group. His doctoral thesis was on this topic and he has contributed two papers on his research in this field.
